Did you know that a third of all food is wasted? And that 44% of this wasted food consists of fruit and vegetables? And with this food loss, the embedded energy, water, nutrients and human labour are lost too. WWF approached us with this very important report, which tackles significant facts like the above, whilst outlining five approaches that need to be taken in order for South Africa to produce 50% more food by 2050 by building a resilient and regenerative food system.
We designed the report using an abundance of infographics. This brought the important facts to the forefront, enabling readers to easily absorb useful information every time they open the report.
